Yay. I'm officially a Biomed student in Monash University's Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences... and i'm ecstatic, optimistic yet apprehensive at the same time. I've always wanted to take up bio!! BUT BUT BUT... biomed is like... a tsunami followed by 10 other natural disasters consecutively... why?

I'VE NEVER IN MY WHOLE LIFE TAKEN BIO BEFORE.

(wth was i thinking?! my whole course is based on BIO.
almost every single freaking unit of it.)

i think if kevin(prof) doesn't help me... i'm so frigging screwed. thank goodness he's gonna tutor me on bio. so we'll see how it goes... i have to start mugging cells, tissues and organisms. so PEOPLE WHO'VE DONE BIO BEFORE(namely TRACY ZHANG YAN XIN & pigassHUAM YIXIANG i hope you guys still have your bio notes... i hope you guys haven't thrown them away. please please please pass them to me the next time i see you all ok?? if you can find them...) i still have 2 more years of intense bio after this year. =S like genetics, microbes, systems in the human body, structure and etc next year... oh gosh... =X

anw... i'm moving out of my apt!! i'm gonna be moving to some where nearer to the campus outside the city... it's a lovely place but sorry people... no parties cos it's a share house... and my parents are still looking out for a house to buy so no house warmings any time soon.

and really sorry i haven't got a chance to meet up with calvin and my big bro/sis nicole my parents are whisking me of from house to house everyday since i've been back... (i'm so damn tired of seeing house after house but i'm the one who's gonna be living in that house for the next few years so it's my responsibility[sadly] to ensure that the house is satisfactory and near to Monash.) it's somewhat like finding an ideal boyfriend. rarr. the search is a huge headache.

on to a happier topic, uni orientation's 18-22feb. i can't wait!!! there're so many activities!!! haha they've got so many clubs and societies!!! think i'll join the biomed society, asean association and the singapore association. not sure which to be more or less active in... i doubt i'll have enough time for all. but they've got lovely events like bbqs and ANNUAL BALLS!!! haha me likey. not to mention these people are people i've got to get to know... especially the biomed people. it's only for biomed students(like me! whee!) and they're really into partying... haha i think the student association's hosting an orientation party at a club in town. x) they were saying they booked all 3 levels of the club. hee hee hee. we'll see.

ok tmr's another day of house hunting...

Bon Voyage
ok... airport keyboards are super tiny. anw, i'm on my way back to melbourne!! and i already got my uni postings... most likely no dentistry and on to biomed @ monash (clayton). oh well... didn't get into dentistry but it was expected... and no... i'm not disappointed cos i already expected it. i just went for the interview cos there was still tha tiny glimmer of hope that i'd be lucky enough to get in. it's been a good experience though. =)

ok i'm going. bye bye singapore.

chicken macnugget.

just got home from roy and ken's poolside dinner & chit-chat. verena was MISSING!!! anyway, it was great meeting up with them(though they wanted to kill me for being... erm... more than 1 hour late. =X my hp batt died quite horribly.) ROY CAN COOK!!! hahaha. i'm still amused by this... although his oglio-something pasta was tongue-numbingly spicy, it tasted really good considering it was cooked by an 18 year old guy. his potato rosti was good too. =) (i don't even know how to start cooking that.) heard a lot of amusing stories from them too. it'll be damn fun if you guys really drop by melbourne!!

gosh... actually all that is required for a great time is really simple. good company, a nice place to chill, and sufficient supply of food & drinks. it's not that complicated... though the arranging of a suitable time for everyone is always a huge headache.

i just flew in from taiwan last night... and my inbox was flooded with smses. sorry if i didn't manage to reply you!! =X taiwan was fantastic despite the unexpected turn of events like butt butt's inconveniently timed chicken pox. >.< GET WELL SOON GIRL!! even though it'll take about another week or so... =S

i'm gonna be flying off to melbourne in 3 more days... and the uni offer's gonna be out in 3 days too. really really hope my luck's sufficient to pull me through adelaide's dentistry... i so soo soooo wanna get in. =( but i don't wanna get my hopes too high. it's so frigging competitive.

to the boys who unfortunately have compulsory bmt[yx, glen, kenneth(gwenson), fishy david, and whoever i've missed out.]... HAVE FUN!! HAHAHA. maybe i'll see u guys in uni in about 2 or 3 years time. too bad i'll miss seeing the bald you-s. awwww...

ok i think i ought to go off cos barron biatch is gonna kill me for being late for sentosa tmr... or rather in about 7.5 hours. rarr... all the going out's draining my ezlink card with adult fares. YUCKS. i quite miss melbourne... but when i go back i'll miss sg food, my crazy girls and all my great sg buddies i've met up with or have yet to meet up with. =(
