oh noooo... not again...

boohoo... ='( tmr's new yr's eve... which means sch's reopening. which means induction's comin up. which also means that heart foundation performance is coming up. which means sch's already open again. ah crap!!! still got ss essays. freak la!!! really worried for next yr.

damn i hate being such a worrywart. but i jus can't help it! really worried on who we'll get for teachers next yr. half our current/previous teachers are gonna be changed!! craps. this stupid cold's really irritating e hell outta me. stupid phelgm's jus stuck in my throat and my nose is running like a bloody tap.

jus came home from sch... from hb. and yay. it's finally settled. we're performing for both induction and e heart foundation dinner function. now... e problem is... wth we're gonna wear. they dun want us to wear our costumes... so i dunno la. they're gonna go shopping on new yr's eve... with diana as e 'designer'. hmmm. hope i dun screw up during e performances. it's been so many weeks since i last played e pieces. and e performance is next wk!! wth la. stupid m2. only willing to confirm that we're performing today.(i still want her fired.) ohhh... pris and monica came back!!! =D so sad pam didn't come. =S they should come back more often. so nice. graduated still comin for practs. haha. hope we dun disappoint them for e upcoming stuff.(i want spaghetti!! XP)

argh. i've got a bin full of tissue paper. stupid nose. keep sneezing... even during hb pract. had to suddenly stop to sneeze. gosh hope i get well by e time sch reopens. yah... and butt was laughing her butt off. lol! e room smells of that burnt-rice-which-tastes-like-popcorn-sweet. oops. =X haha! but it's nice wad. too bad yuan wasn't thr. lol. she would start nagging at us. heheh. crap. can't imagine wad would happen if i suddenly had to sneeze during one of e performances. think i'll go find a nice big rock to hide under for e rest of my life.

gee... i wanna watch phantom of e opera and kungfu hustle before sch reopens!! possible? =X aiya. crap la. schedule's so damned tight. first week of sch, and almost e whole week's booked. k. think e whole week's alr booked. mon-hb, tues-tuition, wed-movie?, thurs-hb, fri-induction rehersal, sat-induction, sun-heart foundation. oh man... got this really sucky feeling mrs aw's gonna scream at us during her lessons. didn't memorise e blardy score... and now e songs sound worse than what she last left us with. i hate water music! i hate marche(no... not e restaurant)! i hate trumpet! i hate... k. maybe not hate. part of your world. it's a nice song... but wad we're playing sure sounds like crap now(no offence.) e syf songs actually sound quite nice... maple and danza. been playing them over and over during practs cos m2 kept telling us tt induction was off, and didn't practise much for those few songs. but dun think mrs aw's gonna bother so much abt syf... yet. =X wah... dunno if i can cope with so many activities. seriously hope i dun burn out mentally.

okkayyy... update bout e trip? wait, wait, wait... don't be so kan chiong. i jus came back yest. got a lotta things to do. lol.

day1(22dec)

flight was at midnight.

met e other guide(charlie) and his assistant cum photographer(eric) at incheon airport at 8am.

started touring straight away. oh, my bros were so amused to see their breath condense infront of them. it was 5degc outside e airport la. not that bad though...

1st place we went was Everland amusement park. quite a nice place... their chicken rox! lol. fried chicken i mean.
anws, i'll start from e beginning. it was freaking cold there la. -3 deg. actually it wasn't so much of e cold that was bothering, it was pretty much due to e stupid wind. e amusement park was built on top of some mountain! and it's damn big too. 3 differents storeys, and u can only get from one level to another by cable car.

went for a coupla rides. it's crazy la. so windy and cold yet my bros wanted to go on roller coasters. but. they couldn't get in. lol! too short. bleh, did i mention how much i HATE roller coasters?? k. i hate roller coasters. so bringing me to a theme park is like a big waste of money, cos i will never step a foot on any roller coaster. flume rides and simulators still ok, but roller coasters are a big NO-NO. haha! damn cute. they had this mini safari with a coupla bears which were trained to perform. one could jog, one could dance, one could even sing!! they also had this lion-tiger breed. they called it a liger. lol. it had e head of a lion and e stripes of a tiger!

zzz... then my bros went to play with artificial snow... they had this slope which was covered in ice and a lot of little duckie floats. they had so much fun sliding down e slope that they didn't wanna leave. they also had this little hut with heaters inside. so nice to feel warm!! never thought i'd miss e weather in singapore. pfft. was approached by a japanese lady who said "you very beauty." bahhhh... anybody know how to stop pple frm coming up to u any suddenly talking to u?? -.-

bah... can't rmb wad else we did. went for dinner after that. korean steamboat. wah... i'm gonna swear off steamboat for some time. every single meal for e first 4 days wer nothing but steamboat. of course there were diff ingredients la. one day pork. one day veggies. one day seafood. a lot la... but all steamboat. haha! one thing i'll never get sick of is their rice. nice!! nicer than e type of rice we usually eat in sg.

after that go back hotel. lol. aiya. dun wanna type liao. lazy. haha. k till next time. i go do hmw. =X

let's see how fast/slow i can type

okkayyy... gotta make this quick. only got 5 mins to type. i'm in changi airport!! stingy pple only allow 15 mins per person even though there are like a million and one comps. not bad... they're internet's quick fast. unlike our sch comps in lab one and two. those need 10 million years to load one page. haha! ok. i dunno waqd to type now. guess i'm jus trying to waste time cos i dun wanna babysit my bros while my parents go 'shopping' at dfs. zzz. bloody flight's at midnight. haha! not to be mean but e tour guide's quite short. around my height!! gonna be quite hard to see him frm a distance if we get lost or sth... tt'a unless he waves some dumb flag aroung la. lol. but he doesn't seem to have any flags with him... or maybe he hasn't taken them out. lalala. k i'm stuck again. uh gtg. 1min left ahh!!!

OH! and i managed to finish all e x'mas cards too!!!! woke up bloody early to complete them k! i'm gonna snooze in e plane. i'll be back on e 27th. and e weather forecast predicted snow in seoul on e 27th! argh! i'm one deprived kid. lol. seriously never seen real snow before... maybe i did... but it wasn't snowing. so e snow... was ice, hard ice.(but still managed to scrape some out into a ball to whack my bro with it)=p bah... mostly gonna be in seoul. hope e tour guide gives plenty of shopping time. X)

boohoo. nut! dun hanky panky with butt(or her hammies, luo han... wadever) k!!! i want brownies toooooo. i'm gonna miss u guys so much!!!!! -sobs. okkayyy. this is getting a lil too dramatic.

gosh, hope i dun freeze my butt off. e temp range is frm a max of 5deg cel to -9deg. and i think my dad's gonna make us wear at least... 5 layers? if i dun die of frostbite, i'm gonna die from rolling down e ski slope? k maybe i won't die... i'll just... roll? zzz... reminds me of bjd2, e part whr they went skiing. O.O definitely dun wanna end up like her. ahh!!! i can't ski for nuts!!

yet another camp... tt roxs!

finally, i'm updating. lol. this is a warning... this is gonna be one very, very, extremely long post.(compared to my usual standards) haha! so if your eyes eventually pop out(if you can even last till e end of this post), don't say i didn't warn you.

day 1
took e bus to church and reached there at about 10.40. my dear charis was supposed to meet me at 10.30! buttttt... she was even later than me. haha! e 1st time when i called her, she said tt they(dad,bro,and her) were STILL at home. e 2nd time i called her, she said that they were on their way. e 3rd time i called her, she said that she was back at home! cos her dad forgot his laptop. O.O after abt half a dozen people telling me to go up to e luther hall, i gave up waiting after e 3rd call. lol! thank heavens i did! cos she arrived only some 40 mins later.

got thr and they alr started with their ice breakers. played quite a few games while waiting for e bus to arrive. e 1st game was sth i missed la.(cos i came late) 2nd game... was quite a lame game whr sherlene and ver went happily snapping away. there were 3 diff poses and when e game leaders(roy and darius) said e no. tt rep e pose in a sequence, u were supposed to pose in that sequence la. 1st pose was e superman one. 2nd was an ah kua one. e 3rd one was e worst one of all... suggested by ver(e sakura pose) haha! but e facilitators cldn't get away from e poses. they had to do it together with us cos peter told them to set a gd example. e best was seeing sher do e 3rd pose. LOL. but she only did a few... wasted la. then she and ver went around with their cameras happily snapping while all we could do was stand there and pose. took a peek at sher's video of e bb guys doin e poses. felix looked damn gay!!! and act cute. lol. but all of them sportingly posed.

got into our grps after that, my grp's "Titus"!... inclusive of feducia, jasmine, rachel, daniel, gabriel, simon and ron. and of course me la. houston was our grp facilitator. then... they had to choose some one to be e leader. daniel's conditions were 1.small 2.young 3.gal. NOT FAIR!! e gals were out numbered!! zzz... so i got picked.

after that, had e guess-who-said-this-in-which-movie game. darius would act out a line from a movie and we were supposed to guess which character said that in which movie. quite funny... had quite a number of foreign languages like hebrew. lol.

then we had e treasure hunt... which they asked us to search for e most unlikely items like a photo of clinton, 2 one cent coins, a black leathered bible in KJV ver, and quite a few other stuff. wah... ran up and down to find e stuff. but in e end we didn't manage to get all la. but had quite a lotta fun in e process. e guys had to complete a very sadistic task before roy was willing to hand over one of e items. shan't mention it here la. lol. quite embarrassing for them. we couldn't find a bookmark with a pic of a dove so we drew a stick bird(which looked more like a seagull than a dove) and tied a rubber band through. haha! not bad la... managed to find more than 3/4s of e stuff listed.

after e treasure hunt, went for lunch and after that got up e bus. haha! i'm still not very sure on how to play daidee. even though a lotta pple tried teaching me time and again. k reached e chalet and settled down... abt 9 gals squashed into our room. me, charis, ver, jearl, sher, tiff, lyd, rachel, and amanda lai. our room had this small little room connecting to e toilet which looked quite freaky at first but turned out quite useful at night. XP e guys esp shaun kept saying that sth will appear at midnight combing it's hair infront of e mirror. but nothing happened... only tt jearl was combing her hair there.

there was a briefing followed by free and easy till dinner. had worship after dinner. later followed by sharing... then light's out at 11. but, i guess we ended up staying up till 2+... in that tiny lil rm playing daidee xp thought that sharing was quite meaningful... like e how do you know whether God really exists?? and wad if e bible's jus one big lie? anw... time was kinda short so e discussion dragged on till e next day's QT.

day 2
waking up with only a few hours of sleep is really tiring! but i got up anw. lol. had QT before breakfast. then there was worship followed by speaker session by pastor allen su. not to be mean la, but his history lesson was kinda... dead? desperately tried to stay awake... to e extent of shooting myself with rubber bands(no, i'm not sadistic). heheh. but i wasn't e only one, everybody was doing sth else. saw a few nodding away and some slping. i do agree that it's rude to do that after e 57 ppp slides he prepared. but it got really draggy. k nvm... i'm jus finding excuses.

anw, e 4 station games were up next. e 1st one was filming a commercial, 2nd was a lotta uhhh... close contact(i'm so glad i'm e leader! xp), 3rd was lunch?, 4th was finally ubin.for e 1st task, really gotta compliment simon for his sportiness, with a bit of coaxing frm everyone in e grp.haha! think he 'suffered' e most. but thx to him e ad turned out pretty realistic. =) for e 2nd game, e leader had to keep rolling e 2 dice and e facilitator had to instruct e others, and e others... had to do all e 'dirty' work. lol! 2 pple had to smell someone else's foot while everybody was pretty much entangled literally. haha! at least i didn't get u all to do e nose to nose thing k! and wheee! our grp had e most no of moves. 30!! =) e 3rd one was really horrible la. had to eat lunch inclusive of lime and some weird mixed fruit cocktail. but at least it wasn't like last yr's bandung-chilli-etc etc mixture. that one really made pple throw up. k anw, e ubin trip was fun.we walked all e way frm e chalet to e jetty at changi v, and... back again. all on foot! we were e 1st grp to reach e jetty, but tiff's grp wasn't far behind. had to wait for her grp to get sufficient pple for e boat ride.got to ubin... cycled... with a lotta passing showers. argh... got really irritated with e bike. e stupid right pedal kept dropping of while i was cycling! and i didn't notice it was loose cos it was on till we were like 1/2 way frm our destination. then it started to rebel. had to suddenly stop and back track to retrieve e freaking pedal! happened for abt 8 times b4 i finally gave up and got peter to help. haha. swapped bikes with kay sing and he had to cycle it all e way back with only one pedal. wonder how he did tt. =X lol. shaun was freaking sher out on e double bike. she kept screaming that he was trying to kill her. funny... esp goin down e slopes. on e way back, stopped for some coconuts. quite nice... while e rest were waiting for e whole grp of us to return to e jetty =X k after we got back to changi v, ron treated e whole grp to drinks. lol. thx! and again... we walked back to e chalet. along e way, winston and a few of e bb officers tried convincing us to get a lift back frm them in their air conditioned-with drinks supplied-van, in exchange for 500pts? lol. eventually dropped to 30 pts but still... we ended up walking all e way.

wah... after reaching e chalet, took a nice bath and had some rehersals for e skit. lol. jasmine's full of kinky, wacky ideas! but they were quite creative la. had dinner, and was our turn to clean up. haha! it was damn funny la. chun kiat was calling everyone maria. and pam pretended to be e maid agent when houston complained he was mistreating us. lol! kitchen duty was nv this hilarious. k worship was next , and then speaker session. thought this one was more interesting and had more thinking questions in it... But still had problems keeping awake. lol. houston saw me sleeping and made a funny face at me. i saw that!! but jearl poked me up la. was really exhausted that night. could barely keep my eyes open.

day 3
wasn't there for e day's main activities... but was back for e night event! played some of e games in e earlier part of e day. that chairless game was really cool!! but when peter said "let's all go for lunch!" everyone collapsed. lol! we were supposed to sit on chairs in a certain direction and then lie on someone's lap while another person lies on yours. then... they would pull e chairs away. and u could actually balance w/o collapsing! haha. ron's got some nice pics on his blog. oh well, left after lunch but came back with some snacks. lol. special night was fun! esp e popping of e bottles. i seriously heard roy telling me and tiff to shake e bottles! haha! turns out that he was telling us not to shake. =X wah. when e cork came off it shot to e ceiling! lol. and e grape sparkling water obviously overflowed all over. haha! so did tiff's. anw, dinner was really great. steamboat! haha!

then it was time for e plays... haha! think e funniest was by abi's grp. e kung fu hustle trailer style story of e debt collector. darius can really act man! but it was kinda violent. kinda whacked by a lotta pple. tiff's grp's storyline was also quite creative. e clinton and monica affair thingy. chris' grp play wasn't bad at all. e 3 'cross-dressers' were very amusing! lol.

alter call was next. really got to refocus on life. realised that i've been so busy lately that i've been neglecting God. wad aunty shirley told me really got me to think it over... suddenly this verse popped into my mind, "cast your cares on to the Lord, and He shall sustain you" in psalms smth... can't really rmb exactly whr. but come to think about it, it was really quite comforting to know that esp when there's so many things goin on next yr. think i've been worrying too much on how i'm gonna cope with everything.

oh well, sher's grp won 1st prize for overall pts. mine's next! haha! titus(teetoos) rox! lol! but like in every camp, too many prizes so shared it with others. haha! after that was free and easy till 2am... when e majority unwillingly left e game of truth or double dare. lol! after e special night activities, guess everyone was feeling kinda high. haha! eg. tiff and me started singing she will be loved, and this love when they blasted e music on mark's precious speakers. whee! and we were fooling around with e drums at like midnight?? lol! but nobody stayed near our chalet... so guess it was quite ok. i can't get my hands to cooperate with e bass!! after 1 or 2 times, everything goes haywire!

later went to take a peek at e others downstairs playing truth or dare(which later turned into double dare). wah. e dares were quite... daring? some had to dance(bellydance?), kiss someone's foot? and etc. lol! quite funny! but... all good things eventually have to come to an end. so it was lights out. but again... e gals in our room stayed up for a few rounds of daidee b4 turning in at 3. lol. too tired...

day 4
home sweet home... but for me it was straight to laguna for 9hole golf. X_X my game wasn't that bad, despite how exhausted i was. but e coach said my alignment sucked(haha! he didn't actually say that.) lol! damn mean la. he threatened to make us(my bro and me) do pumping on e course if let's say we didn't sink that putt. but i did!! and my bro didn't so he had to do 20 on tt hole. embarrassing sia. crap. i've gotta work on my driving skills. i can't turn sharp corners!! lol. always end up reversing here and there. zzz... had lunch at e club. teriyaki chicken burger. damn nice. laguna's satay rox!! shiok sia. wah... collapsed once i reached hme. had a nice long nap till 9+pm. haha!





wheee. i'm finally done. lol. changed e song... something more into e christmas mood. for those who watched e movie Love Actually will definitely like this song. i, for one, like this song to bits!! it's All I Want For Christmas Is You by Olivia Olsen. haha! if ver reads this, she'd probably b nodding away. oh yah, get well soon gal!! will b praying for ya.=)

wheeee! church camp was great... though i wasn't there abt 1/2 e time. oh well, won't blog abt it now. dun have enuff time... zzz... got handbell pract on later. btw, LOTSA photos were snapped during e camp, i'll post them up once i get all of them. which well probably take a veryyyy long time so... happy waiting! for now, i gtg. okie. ciao!

it's a love/hate situation.

gee. when my life's so boring or slow moving, i complain. but when my life's on fast forward, i complain. haha. looks like i'll never be satisfied. what a vicious cycle...

whee... i've watched 2 movies this week: Without a Paddle and National Treasure, done a 6 shopping center wide range hunt for bags and clothes, finished chem, had tuition, earned myself 33bucks for 2hrs, gone to e gym, practically stay outta home for e past few days. lalala. wah... nv knew that ah ma could shop so much. haha! got myself another merry-go-round shopaholic! now i know who to turn to should i need a shopping partner. heehee.

without a paddle is hilarious, really funny... unlike mark's kinda-spastic-tickled-funny-bone(lol. thought tt was called an elbow?) National Treasure's got a damn similar storyline to da vinci code: knights templars/masons/treasure/all-seeing-eye/hints/american historical monuments/blah blah blah... even e way e story unfolded. but still nice.

lalala. got church camp from tmr to wed. yayyy... back to aloha changi AGAIN... zzz. looks like tt's a very cheaply popular chalet. oh well, company's good though. xP think we'll have quite a fun time there. maybe next yr... have it back at m'sia??(hint!hint!) lol. like e very 1st youth retreat. tt was fun! and we really got to know each other well. come to think abt it, our current cliques were kinda formed during that retreat! but still, we did get to grow closer to God... =) okie. really pray that nothing like what happened during last yr's church camp happens again. sheesh. bah... gtg! till next time... lol. maybe i'll post some photos taken during e camp. MAYBE. but till then, guess this blog's gonna be quiet. okie. gotta get packing! adios amigos!

haha! 3Z is so freakin enthu tt 1/3 e class turned up! but who cares... it was fun!! let's go again k??

ahma!!! i like shopping with u!... at ntuc dhivya's 'old' enuff for barcardi. =D weed! dun snatch my darlin!!... and tt smiley faced hammer's sho cuteeeee!! neh can cycle??? qy! lol. next time jus wear shorts la. tracy!! dun wear white to e beach w/o ur swim suit!! me?? i shldn't have left so early... =' (

woah... ecp's beaches hv really been cleaned since e last time i went. so cleaaaan. it's even better than certain parts of sentosa!! since when did it get so clean?? and u can see ur feet in e water!! unlike sentosa...

heh. raspberry flavoured cream tastes delicious with saralee pound cake. =p

tt gal was so cute. lol. she'll grow up to be one really pretty lady. haha! her dad's funny la. "If you don't get out of the water this instant, there'll be no christmas presents for you this year" meannnn... wad's wrong with splashing around in e water??

moral of e story: bring extra clothes when ever u go to the beach.

Sorry...
